Detail of the old West Seattle Bridge and the steel mill that first brought population to West Seattle and who's workers' children attended the Cooper School was built for. The school was then restored and renovated to become Youngstown Cultural Art Center.
The names of the donors are engraved in slate salvaged from the chalkboards in the original classrooms.
