Aragona opens! An incredibly fun, collaborative project with Erich Ginder, Dolan Built, Zero+ Architects with Jason Stratton at the helm. A long-term work in progress for me. Filled with unexpected artful moments and beautiful artisanship by everyone.
Together with Jo Braun and Kelley Knickerbocker, I co-curated and participated in this experimental exhibition of site-responsive work based in the mosaic medium.
My installation in an abandoned Prince Rupert, B.C. munitions shelter caught the attention of the CBC. Here is the segment they did early in the project. (Warning: styling is corny enough to make me cringe.)

My sculptural piece "Aspen Stump" was acquired by the Art Museum of the City of Ravenna (MAR) and will be put back on display at the 2013 RavennaMosaico exhibition.

I have the pleasure of collaborating with an artist I've long admired, fellow Seattlite, Jo Braun on her mural entitled "Invasion of the Found Facians" for the facade of the Saturn Building in Fremont, Washington.
