Installations > Green Goes Black

Created over the course of 3 weeks in an abandoned WWII munitions bunker in the forest outside of Prince Rupert, BC, Canada, this piece is my first guerrilla installation. Using materials collected in and around the building and honoring all the existing graffiti, this installation arose as conversation with the people, places and events of that area. Vignettes throughout the space touch on topics related to the attainment and use of oil as it relates to the ecology, built environments and First Nations' rights.
