The themes I am exploring with this piece include the mapping of inter-personal dynamics, and how they create a unique, nebulous but distinct unit embodied by an individual and occupying a particular place in time and space.
The tangle can be seen as the central character, depicted as a map of it's own dynamics. The background mentions all different types of terrain - from rolling pastures to urban waterfronts, implying a sort of "everywhere" in front of which the character sits.
